After it’s successful theatrical run, Tourist Family is set to premiere on OTT. Starring Sasikumar and Simran, the Tamil film is directed by debutant Abishan Jeevinth.Tourist Family hit the screens on May 1, 2025, clashing with biggies such as Suriya’s Retro, and Hit 3, starring Nani. The film revolves around a Sri Lankan family that escapes to Tamil Nadu to settle down. The film is a comedy drama with emotional elements.MS Bhaskar, Yogi Babu and Elango Kumaravel are the other actors in the movie. Upon its release, Tourist Family was praised as a heart-warming entertainer by critics and fans alike. The movie, which collected over Rs 75 crore at the box office, will stream on JioHotstar from June 02, 2025.Tourist Family also received appreciation from many noted personalities from across film industries, including SS Rajamouli and Nani.
