Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, offering a fresh take on the web-slinging hero’s story. This series reimagines Spider-Man’s journey in an alternate timeline where Peter Parker is mentored by Norman Osborn, rather than Tony Stark, as depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.The voice cast features Hudson Thames as Spider-Man, Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, and Hugh Dancy as Doctor Octopus. Additionally, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio return as Daredevil and Kingpin, reprising their roles from the Netflix Daredevil series. Paul F. Tompkins lends his voice to The Wizard, a classic Marvel villain.

The trailer highlights two distinct Spider-Man suits, including a casual outfit suited for a teenage Peter Parker and a sleeker black-and-white design.Marvel fans have long embraced Spider-Man, a character who has consistently drawn audiences since Tom Holland’s portrayal began with Captain America: Civil War. While this animated series explores new territory, it continues a legacy established by previous adaptations, including the Sam Raimi films starring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s reboot.The series is led by Jeff Trammell as head writer and Mel Zwyer as supervising director, with executive producers including Kevin Feige.
