About Ravi Mohan and Aarti`s divorce
Amid ongoing tensions, the couple appeared before the Chennai Family Court on May 21 and filed individual petitions for divorce. At the hearing, Ravi Mohan reiterated his intention to proceed with the divorce, while Aarti demanded Rs 40 lakh as monthly alimony. Ravi also urged the court to reject Aarti`s plea for cohabitation.
The court adjourned the matter until June 12 and asked both parties to reconsider their pleas. Earlier, when Ravi Mohan initially filed for divorce, the court directed them to attend counselling sessions, which they have been complying with as per court orders.
