As mentioned before, the lack of acceptance of Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a lead actor seems to now being having an adverse effect on his forthcoming projects, that, to, not even those on the big screen, but those looking for a direct OTT release. Several OTT news reports have circulated that as many as seven Nawazuddin Siddiqui movies, which have been shot and wrapped up their post-production work, with the finished product now being completely ready, are finding it tough to secure a buyer on a single OTT platform. If true, this must be an extremely worrying development for the makers of each of these films. However, Nawazuddin himself seems to be unperturbed. Nawazuddin Siddiqui declares ‘he doesn’t keep track’ of his movies
When entertainment news website Bollywood Hungama quizzed Nawazuddin Siddiqui about the predicament his movies fid themselves in, the actor nonchalantly retorted that first and foremost, what’s happening is news to him, and secondly, once he completes a film he doesn’t “keep track of its journey”. He added that his job is to merely act and he isn’t bothered about anything beyond that.
