Days after actor Ravi Mohan’s estranged wife Aarti Ravi penned a note on social media, accusing the actor of “walking away from the very responsibilities he once promised to honour,” the Ponniyin Selvan star has responded with a four-page note. Ravi has denied the claims of Aarti and said that he had been “stabbed in the chest.”Ravi Mohan got the internet talking on Friday after he made a public appearance with his rumoured partner, singer Keneesha Francis, at a wedding in Chennai recently. Soon after the incident, Aarti took to Instagram and wrote, “Today, while the world sees carefully curated appearances and photo captions, our reality is very different. My divorce is still ongoing. But the man I once stood beside for 18 years-in love, loyalty, and belief-has not just walked away from me, but from the very responsibilities he once promised to honour.”Aarti then alleged that she and her sons are facing eviction from their house on Ravi’s instructions. Calling out Ravi for hurting their children, aged 10 and 14, Aarti said that while the boys might be too young to understand the legal nuances of the issue, they are “old enough to feel abandonment.”Ravi announced separation from Aarti on September 09, 2024. The two are parents to Aarav and Ayaan. Responding to Aarti’s note, Ravi said, “What breaks me most is seeing my children used as tools in public narrative rooted in financial gain, and to sway public sympathy, while I have been deliberately kept away from them since our separation.”Ravi further wrote that he was stopped from meeting his parents by Aarti and her mother. “As an adult and as a survivor of years, mental, emotional, physical and severe financial abuse, I was also caged in isolation from meeting my parents all these years.Keenesha Francis, a great supportIn the note, Ravi hinted that he is in a relationship with singer and spiritual therapist Keneesha Francis, and said, “She stood by me on the night I left my home barefoot. In my night suit, when I was stripped off my wallet, vehicles, documents, belongings and even basic dignity, she stood by me.
