Fans of Ajith Kumar can finally rejoice as the makers of the actor’s upcoming film Vidaamuyarchi have released the film’s trailer along with the new release date. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the highly-anticipated Tamil film, produced by Lyca Productions, was set to release on Pongal this year. It’s now known that the film will hit theatres on February 6. The makers took to social media to share the Tamil and Telugu trailers of the film along with the release date.

The trailer follows the teaser of the film which was released in November last year. The movie is touted to be an intense road thriller. Ajith is seen in an intense avatar as the film comes across as an action-packed crime drama set in a desolate region.Mostly shot in Azerbaijan, Vidaamuyarchi also stars Trisha, Regina Cassandra and Arjun Sarja. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the movie while Nirav Shah and Om Prakash have handled the cinematography.Meanwhile, Ajith has also completed the shooting for Good Bad Ugly.
